Reflexology Therapy - General, Spinal & Pregnancy Reflexology
About Reflexology

Reflexology is a complentary therapy that involves the application of pressure to specific points, known as reflexes, on the feet and hands to encourage the body to heal from within.

The therapy is based on the priniciple that the feet and hands contain "mini-maps" of the whole body and that by applying pressure using the fingers or thumbs, a reflexologist can have a positive effect on the corresponding parts of the body.

Treatments
I offer you a quality treatment at reasonable prices. At Reflexology Therapy, the focus is on the healing.

Reflexology is a holistic treatment and can incorporate well into a healthy lifestyle. However, as a whole it is an amazing therapy that will have your whole body feeling lighter and relaxed after a treatment. Some people have been known to fall asleep during a treatment, this is perfectly fine as it's meant to relax you. During a treatment you will be given the option to have a blanket over you to give you maximum comfort.

How will I feel during a treatment?
The aim of a reflexology treatment is to make you feel relaxed.  However, if you feel emotional or extreme coldness during a treatment, please do not be alarmed as this is all natural. Your blood pressure lowers bringing your temperature down during a treatment. Blanket (should you feel cold), pillows, tissues and water will be provided for you to make your treatment the most relaxing you’ve ever experienced as this is about you and your body healing itself.  It could be that your body is flushing out any blockages that were deeply hidden for a very long time and needed to get out in order for it to heal.

How will I feel after a treatment?
It is always important to keep drinking lots of water after your treatment as it helps the body to flush out toxins in your body.

You may feel the following effects after a treatment but do not be alarmed as this is your body going through the healing process and it will pass.

  • Thirsty
  • Emotional
  • Mild tiredness
  • Increased desire to visit the lavatory
  • Runny nose.
